Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a health profession which helps restore movement and function after injury, illness or disability. It helps to facilitate recovery, enabling people to stay healthy and independent for as long as possible.

Physiotherapy can benefit people in various health conditions. It helps with sudden injury or conditions like back or knee pain, maintaining long term conditions such as asthma and in preparing for childbirth or preventing post delivery complications.

Why physiotherapy?

Physiotherapists use their skills and knowledge to improve a wide range of conditions such as:

  • Neurological (stroke, parkinson disease, cerebral palsy).
  • Musculoskeletal ( back pain, knee pain or any sports injury).
  • Cardiovascular ( chronic heart disease, after heart surgeries).
  • Obstetrics and gynae ( ante natal and post natal care, incontinence)
